Surgery Center

The UCLA Cosmetic Surgery Center is located conveniently in Westwood (near both Beverly Hills and Santa Monica) at the 200 UCLA Medical Plaza, Suite 465.
Outpatient surgery is performed in the same building just above our office at the UCLA Surgery Center, on the sixth floor of 200 Medical Plaza. The Surgery Center is a state-of-the-art facility with eight operating rooms and four minor procedure rooms, and is staffed by board certified UCLA anesthesiologists, scrub techs, circulating nurses and recovery room nurses. Most procedures requiring an overnight stay can be performed at the UCLA Surgery Center, as well.
We offer direct access to private after-care facilities. In addition, you, as the patient, have the option of having our registered nurses recover you overnight, here at our Surgery Center.

The outpatient facility has been fully accredited by JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), an organization which sets the highest standards for surgical care. The surgery center has the most advanced surgery and anesthesia equipment, as also found in our adjacent hospital. Although our surgeons perform most procedures in our outpatient facility, select cases are done at the UCLA Medical Center, just across the street.
