Cosmetic procedures enhance facial and body features consistent with a patient's goals. Reconstructive procedures restore form and function to injured or deformed body features.
Subspecialists in the UCLA division of plastic surgery offer expertise in:
- Cosmetic surgery: latest techniques in facial rejuvenation, body and breast enhancement;
- Craniofacial surgery: reknown treatment of cleft lip and palate, and facial deformities;
- Microsurgery: Reconstruction of the breast and other areas from cancer ablation;
- Hand Surgery: repair of congenital hand deformities, arthritic joints and trauma injuries;
In addition to providing excellent care to patients, we strive to educate other plastic surgeons in the complex management of reconstructive or cosmetic patients.
Our residency program (accredited by the American Board of Plastic Surgery) is known as one of the top programs in the country and has trained many plastic surgery residents who have gone on to head divisions of plastic surgery throughout the country.
Further, the craniofacial, hand and microsurgical fellowships attract applicants from all over the world who come to UCLA to learn specialized plastic surgical techniques.
